Cholee Park: The 800-acre park now under development will become part of adjacent 900-acre Okeeheelee Park at Forest Hill Boulevard and Florida's Turnpike. The new equestrian facility within Cholee Park will be named after Dr. James Brandon, who lobbied the county and state to make sure the land was preserved as a park. He was chairman of the Okeeheelee Park Citizens Advisory Committee for 22 years.

Dr. James Brandon long time resident on Washington Road in Prospect Park passed away earlier this year.
