General Meeting Minutes
Place: Firehouse, Dixie Highway
Time: Meeting Called to Order 6:34 p.m.

1) Leslie Welcomes all in attendance
* Election of the 2004-2005 Board members. 7 positions and 7 names on the
ballot. No additional volunteers during the meeting. The 7 remaining or new
board members are:
· Leslie Holvey Linder (current President) 112 Roosevelt Pl.
· Marion Holloway (current Vice President) 3209 Washington Rd.
· Carol McLaughlin (current Treasurer) 232 Marlborough Rd.
· Richard Brown (current Board member) 334 Marlborough Rd.
· Bill Gearhart (current Board Member) 3130 Vincent Rd
· Jim Young (New Board Member) 3120 Washington Rd
· Steven Deness (New Board Member) 3217 Vincent Rd.
2) Treasurer's Report - Carol McLaughlin
*Fall Event raised $3,300.00
*Current Balance: $4,500.00
*Estimated annual administration budget is approx. $1,000.00.
*Some onetime expenses expected this year - accounting and IRS filings.
*Registration: 225 homes in the area covered by the association with 81 or
36% registered.
*Reminder: Annual Fees dues for 2004.
3) Committees for 2004
Leslie discussed the upcoming committees and requested volunteers for each.
Each listed below:
*Airport Noise: This committee is to be lead by Steven Deness , 4 additional
attendees register to be a part of this committee.
*Crime Prevention: This committee is to be lead by Steven Deness , 4
additional attendees register to be a part of this committee. Note: The
local Crime Prevention meetings are Saturday’s at 10am at:________________
Kim Mitchell spoke on the topic of crime prevention and offered to invite
the new police chief Delsa Bush to one of our upcoming general sessions.
*Street Beautification: This committee is to be lead by Lila Young , 8
additional attendees register to be a part of this committee.
* Spring Picnic In the Park: Committee to be determined
5) Lila Young – Update on upcoming El Cid home tour. $50 per ticket and 10
-15 homes exhibited.
6) Crime in our area: Robbery on Roosevelt, several tools stolen from garage
during the night.
7) Website update: now over 75 pages of information regarding the HOA
progress and events in our area. 1650 visitors in our first year.
