1) Welcome - Leslie Holvey-Linder (President)
2) Lori Starbuck (Vice President/Block Captain Coordinator)
*Picnic in Park - a success, many more children than anticipated *"Thank
you" for support and attendance *Street Captains - Duties will include
keeping neighbors informed of street events such as births, deaths,
break-ins, distribution of fliers, welcome new move-in neighbors
3) Carol McLaughlin (Treasurer)
*Financial Report - distributed document: "Income and Expense Report Through
June, 2003"
*Recap of Picnic in Park Contributions/Expenses/Difference
*Recap of Total Operating Budget Contributions/Expenses/Difference
(Contributions $1,944.88/Expenses $1,625.69/Difference $319.19)
*Total contributors to-date = 13.
*Association comprised of =/- 200 houses.
*Request for support/membership/contributions
4) Bill Gearhart (Webmaster)
*266 hits on website.
*Outgrown website. Moved to new location at SAME address: www.pphhoa.org
however, access is no longer available via Bellsouth
*Bylaws to be posted on the website
*Website services include local real estate, message board, link to
neighboring associations

*Keep communication OPEN. Car windows have been smashed, purses grabbed from
cars
7) Guest Speaker: Ken Reardon, Director of Public Utilities, City of West
Palm Beach
*Presentation of Neighborhood Maps/Charts - Overview of City Storm water
Improvement Master Plan 2000, Adopted 2001, $10,000,000 project
*Flagler will be closing at Sunset/Cordova this weekend for 28
days,anticipated completion: July 4.
*South Olive (north of Belvedere) anticipated completion June, 2004 -
opening in sections
*Next S. Olive section for work: North of Sunset to begin July, 2003
*Monceaux Road Construction - Flagler to Georgia Ave. New water/sanitary
lines along curbs and sidewalks. New Pollution Control device at Flagler.
Work to commence at Flagler and move toward Georgia. All swales and
sidewalks along north side of Monceaux to be demolished and replaced. Trees
are at the discretion of the contractor. Contact City to discuss this matter
in detail.
*Monroe/Washington - to include new curbs, streetlights, gutters, storm
drains, tree-replanting, traffic "bulb-outs", brick pavers at intersections
*Prospect Park - "Phase 3" - NOT approved at this time
*Mayor Frankel has stopped all traffic calming devices at this time
*Recommendation for our HOA to form an internal committee to represent our
group's desires and watch over unfolding developments
*75,000 previously allocated to Monceaux Park may be put into Petty Park
instead. (Commission can move the money)
8) Guest Speaker: Rusty Gulden, President, El Cid/Prospect Park/Southland
Park HOA
*12 years of effort have been invested to attempt to have the City bury
electrical/cable/telephone lines in Southland Park. Still ongoing concern
about location of transformers required to accomplish and funding.
*Washington Road finalized to be 28' wide upon completion of city work.
*Central Park finalized to receive uniform oak trees
* Capital Workshop meeting June 17, 9:00 a.m. to coordinate 2004 budget.
Recommendation for volunteers from HOA to attend.
